NASCAR completes 2027 schedule reveal
NASCAR released the rest of the 2027 schedule for its three national series Wednesday confirming the final few dates that needed to be fit into the puzzle.
There were no surprises in what was left to announce, as most of the dates had already been announced by individual races. Among them were the pre-season Clash returning to Daytona International Speedway, a second year running in San Diego, and the season concluding once again at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Additionally, the All-Star Race is headed back to North Wilkesboro Speedway and Dover Motor Speedway gets its points event back.
“The 2027 NASCAR national series schedules reflect the continued momentum of our sport and the strong collaboration across our industry to deliver an innovative and balanced schedule for our fans that challenges the best drivers in the world,” said Ben Kennedy, NASCAR Chief Operating Officer. “From the return of NASCAR San Diego and the Wheatley Vodka Clash at Daytona to the NASCAR Championship at Homestead-Miami, this schedule brings together marquee events, iconic venues and key markets while continuing to honor NASCAR’s heritage and evolve for the future.”
A few dates have shifted, though. Among them: Iowa Speedway will be the Fourth of July weekend, shifting Chicagoland Speedway to the end of June; San Diego will be later in the season, as it falls on the first weekend of August; Bristol Motor Speedway returns to August.
The full Cup Series schedule is as follows:
