Triarsi Competizione unveils IMSA GTD PRO plans for 2026

Triarsi Competizione has announced its four-driver GTD PRO lineup for the upcoming Rolex 24 At Daytona, marking the Orlando-based outfit’s first foray into IMSA’s all-pro GT category for a full Michelin Endurance Cup campaign.

For its Daytona debut, the new No. 033 Ferrari 296 GT3 Evo will be driven by Ferrari factory drivers James Calado, Miguel Molina, and Alessio Rovera, as well as Italian driver Riccardo Agostini.

Two-time and defending FIA Hypercar World Endurance Drivers’ champion Calado won the 2023 24 Hours of Le Mans for Ferrari AF Corse and took GTD PRO honors at the Rolex 24 in 2024 with Risi Competizione.

Molina, likewise, has also won the 24 Hours of Le Mans, taking the overall victory in 2024 as part of the factory Ferrari Hypercar team.

Rovera was a Le Mans class winner on his debut in 2021 when he was part of the winning LMGTE Am line-up, while Agostini is coming off a season in which he finished runner-up in the European Le Mans Series LMGT3 standings.

“This is the moment we’ve been building toward, and we couldn’t have asked for a stronger launch into GTD PRO,” said Team Principal Onofrio Triarsi. “Ferrari’s incredible support has made this possible, and being able to put this line-up together for our first PRO car is extraordinary. We have every reason to believe we can fight at the front from the very first lap at Daytona.”

“Delighted to be returning to IMSA and the Rolex 24 with Triarsi Competizione,” added Calado. “The new Evo is an absolute weapon, we have a proper line-up, and we all have the same goal – we want that watch.”

Triarsi Competizione will also run the No. 023 Ferrari in the GTD class for the five-race Michelin Endurance Cup at Daytona, Sebring, Watkins Glen, Road America, and Road Atlanta.

The team is coming off its first winning season since joining IMSA in 2023. Onofrio Triarsi and mid-season acquisition Kenton Koch drove to victory in the infamous sprint race at Road America in August, followed by a runner-up finish at VIRginia International Raceway.
