NASCAR announces 2019 Cup start times

Start times for the 2019 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series schedule have been released.

There were notable changes for a handful of events. First, the spring race at Texas Motor Speedway has been shifted to FOX and will begin an hour later than last season, at 3 p.m. ET. Also starting later this season is the summer race in New Hampshire (3 p.m. ET).

Two playoff races were also tweaked. The postseason opener at Las Vegas will go from daytime to prime time, starting at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT.

Martinsville’s October race will start a half-hour later, at 3 p.m. ET.
