The 65th Mobil 1 Twelve hours of Sebring is in the books and we have two carryover winners from January's Rolex 24 at Daytona. Wayne Taylor Racing scored the overall victory with the No. 10 Cadillac DPi-V.R and Performance Tech Motorsports also added a second straight PC win with the No. 38 ORECA FLM09-Chevy.
In GT Le Mans, Corvette Racing surged to claim its third consecutive Sebring victory with the No. 3 C7.R and in GT Daytona, the No. 33 Riley Motorsports Mercedes-AMG GT3 was victorious. Thank you for reading along!

Twelve minutes left and Ricky Taylor is in full control of Prototype with a 12.6-second lead over Joao Barbosa. The closest fight is for GTLM honors where Corvette's Antonio Garcia has 1.4 seconds over Ford's Joey Hand.

Patrick Pilet pits the second-place No. 911 GTLM Porsche with a slow puncture, runs over an air hose on the way out, and receives a penalty which ends its bid for victory.

6:10 p.m.
Ricky Taylor (No. 10 Cadillac) cuts the lead to 0.786 seconds before the top two cars pit on lap 221. Taylor – needing less fuel – turns his car over to Alexander Lynn, who returns to the race in the lead over Christian Fittipaldi (No. 5 Cadillac), who remained in the car. Car owner Wayne Taylor downplayed the strategy. "There's so much time left, strategy is not going to make much difference," Taylor said. "We just wanted to stay with the leader." ... GTD also heating up, with Bryan Sellers (No. 48 Lamborghini) leading Christopher Mies (No. 29 Audi) by 0.700 seconds. Austin Cindric (No. 15 Lexus) was also part of that battle before his pit stop, when the team changed brakes as Jack Hawksworth returned to the race in 14th place.

The Action Express and Konica Minolta teams continue to exchange the lead on pit stops, although the Wayne Taylor-owned team is stretching the time between its stops. Christian Fittipaldi (No. 5 Cadillac) pits at 5:29 p.m., and then returns to the lead at the seven-hour mark when Ricky Taylor (No. 10 Cadillac) has his stop. Both drivers remain at the wheel. Third is Chris Miller (No. 85 ORECA), one lap down, with Dane Cameron (No. 31 Cadillac) fourth, another lap back. It's another 24 laps back to fifth place, Trisan Nunex (No. 55 Mazda). ... Billy Johnson (No. 68 Ford) leads Ganassi teammate Ryan Briscoe (No. 67 Ford) in GTLM, followed by Dirk Werner (No. 911 Porsche), with six cars on the lead lap. ... Ben Keating (No. 33 Mercedes) paces GTD, with seven cars with six different manufacturer's still on the lead lap.

Antonio Garcia (No. 3) Corvette takes the GTLM lead as Joey Hand (No. 66 Ford) pits. All three Fords took turns in the lead. Scott Dixon (No. 67) pitted from the lead, turning the car over to Ryan Briscoe and the lead went to Stefan Mucke (No. 68 Ford). When Mucke pitted to turn the car over to Billy Johnson, Hand went out front until his stop, when Dirk Mueller stepped in.

GTD leader Richard Antinucci (No. 11 Lamborghini) pits. There are five different manufacturers in the top five positions in the class. Jeroen Bleekemolen (No. 33 Mercedes) leads Connor De Phillippi (No. 29 Audi), Matteo Cressoni (No. 63 Ferrari), Austin Cindric (No. 15 Lexus) and Dion von Moltke (No. 48 Lamborghini). ... Race leader Joao Barbosa (No. 5 Cadillac), Christian Fittipaldi gets in, Ricky Taylor (No. 10 Cadillac) takes the lead. "Everything is going to plan," Barbosa said. "There's still a long, long way to go. The team is doing a tremendous job on pit stops. Traffic is tough out there, but I can't complain."

Cooper MacNeil (No. 50 Mercedes) cuts the left-front tire after running over debris following a spin in turn 17 by Tom Dyer (No. 86 Acura). The cut tire results in suspension damage, causing MacNeil to run a slow lap on his return to the pits. "I had zero steering and had to limp around the track in first gear with virtually no steering. It was pretty sketchy." ... Richard Westbrook (No. 67 Ford) pits while leading in GTLM, handing the car over to Scott Dixon. Sebastien Bourdais (No. 66 Ford) now leads GTLM.

Four hours into the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring, ending the opening segment of the Tequila Patron North American Endurance Cup. We've seen heavy attrition in the Prototype class, with three cars remaining on the lead lap. Filipe Albuquerque (No. 5 Cadillac) leads Jordan Taylor (No. 10 Cadillac) by 36.296s, with Stephen Simpson (No. 85 ORECA) third. Sebastien Buemi (No. 13 ORECA) is fourth but is two laps down following a problem restarting the car during a routine pit stop. ... In PC, Kyle Masson (No. 38 ORECA) leads Max Hanratty (No. 8), with Colin Thompson (No. 26) three laps down. ... Scary moment for Emmanuel Anassis in the No. 18 DAC Motorsports Lamborghini, who spun in turn 17 and stopped sideways in the center of the track as the lead GTD cars went by. Boris Said (No. 75 SunEnergy1 Mercedes) was coming through the turn on the inside but touched Anassis after hitting some bumps. Anassis is able to restart the car and continues, while Said is penalized for the incident. ... Spencer Pigot (No. 55 Mazda) goes to the paddock following a pit stop while running fourth. ... Eric Curran, running second in the No. 31 Cadillac, had contact with Johannes van Overbeek (No. 22 Nissan) exiting Turn 17 on lap 71. Van Overbeek was entering the pits in front of Curran. Both cars spin, and while van Overbeek continues to the pits, Curran cannot restart the Cadillac – bring out the second full-course caution. ... When the car is refired, Curran goes directly to the paddock. ... Tom Long returns to the track in the No. 70 Mazda Prototype, which had been behind the wall since being involved in an incident which brought out the initial caution. ... The No. 4 Corvette is officially retired with overheating issues.

Four different manufacturers represented in the top four in GTLM, as Sebastien Bourdais (No. 66 Ford) leads Jan Magnussen (No. 3 Corvette), James Calado (No. 62 Ferrari) and Frederic Makowiecki (No. 911 Porsche). Bill Auberlen (No. 25 BMW) is seventh, with the top eight GTLM cars on the same lap. ... Neel Jani (No. 13 Rebellion Racing ORECA WEC LMP2) manages to catch the two lead Cadillac DPi, before pitting at 12:30 p.m. Sebastien Buemi takes over but has trouble refiring the car, which team turned off for the stop. Team removes the rear bodywork, works on the car and gets the car started after losing two laps. Action Express pits on the following lap, with Felipe Albuquerque taking over for Fittipaldi in the No. 5. ... Alexander Lynn (No. 10 Cadillac) led a lap but had a close call coming into the pits, nearly colliding with Robert Alon (No. 15 Lexus). ... After stops, Eric Curran (No. 31 Cadillac) leads Albuquerque (No. 5) by 0.442 seconds, with Lynn (No. 10 Cadillac).

Martin Tomczyk (No. 24 BMW) returned to the race after going behind the wall, losing eight laps, but cut the left-rear tire on his out lap.

Up front, battle among the Action Express teammates, Eric Curran (No. 31 Cadillac) leads Christian Fittipaldi (No. 5 Cadillac) by 7.706s. Neel Jani (No. 13 ORECA) passes Renger Van der Zande (No. 90 Multimatic/Riley) for third, and runs three seconds behind the lead Cadillacs.

Back to green following the first full-course caution, with pit stops for the top seven Prototypes. Eric Curran takes over for Dane Cameron and now leads in the No. 31 Cadillac, while Action Express teammate Christian Fittipaldi remains in the No. 5 Cadillac. Alexander Lynn now driving the No. 10 Cadillac.
While most of the PC cars pit, Patricio O'Ward (No. 38) stays out and takes the PC lead, followed by Marc Drumwright (No. 26). ... The bulk of GTLM competitors do not pit, with Dirk Mueller (No. 66 Ford) leading Antonio Garcia (No. 3 Corvette) and Dirk Werner (No. 911 Porsche). ... More than half of the GTD cars pit, with Persiani (No. 27 Lamborghini) remaining out to take the lead, followed by DePhillippi (No. 29 Audi) and Lewis (No. 16).

First full-course caution as Joel Miller (No. 70 Mazda Prototype) loses his brakes and goes straight the tire barrier in Turn 17 on lap 33. ... Miller is out of the car and apparently OK.
11:40 a.m.
Ryan Briscoe (No. 67 Ford) completes a last-to-first drive as he takes the GTLM lead on lap 28 when leaders Dirk Mueller (No. 66 Ford) and Antonio Garcia (No. 3 Corvette) pit. Briscoe was held on pit road when he had trouble starting his car, and then served a drive-through penalty. ... Briscoe then pitted in the following lap, with the lead recycling back to Mueller.
Mark Wilkins(No. 93 Acura) pitted with an electronical glitch. Team owner Michael Shank reports that the problem has been corrected as Wilkins continues.

Great battle for third in GTLM sees Giancarlo Fisichella (No. 62 Ferrari) getting around Stefan Mucke (No. 68 Ford) with light contact. Mucke regains the position a lap later and runs third behind class leader Dirk Muller (No. 66 Ford) and Antonio Garcia (No. 3 Corvette).
Up front, Cadillacs 1-2-3 with Dane Cameron (No. 31) leading Christian Fittipaldi (No. 5) by 5.803s and Ricky Taylor (No. 10) by 24.950s. Stephan Simpson (No. 85 ORECA) is fourth.11:24 a.m.

Neel Jani (No. 13 ORECA) serves a drive-through penalty for an infraction during refueling (no fire extinguisher over the wall).
11:20 a.m.
Routine stops for the top three cars on lap 17, with Dane Cameron (No. 31 Cadillac) beating Neel Yani (No. 13 ORECA) and Christian Fittipaldi (No. 5 Cadillac) out of the pits. That gives the lead to Jose Gutierrez (No. 52 Ligier) – closely followed by Ricky Taylor (No. 10 Cadillac), who takes the point one lap later when Gutierrez pits. Then it’s Taylor to the pits, and the lead cycles back to Cameron.
No change up front in the three other classes.

10 laps into the Sebring 12 Hours, and Neel Jani has led all the way in the No. 13 Rebellion Racing ORECA WEC P2. He is followed by the two Action Express Cadillac DPis, with Christian Fittipaldi (No. 5) 3.157s back, followed by Dane Cameron, 4.872s. Defending race winner Pipo Derani pitted the No. 2 ESM Nissan DPi on lap six and lost a lap. The team had electrical problems with overboost in qualifying, and the car eventually goes behind the wall as ESM continues to try to correct the issue.
No. 26 Gustavo Yacaman leads PC, with Dirk Mueller (No. 67 Ford) in front in GTLM, while Connor De Phillippi (No. 29 Audi) paces GTD.

Another problem for the No. 55 Mazda Prototype, with Jonathan Bomarito pitting on the second lap with a cut left-rear tire. Both the No. 67 Ford GT of Ryan Briscoe and No. 75 Mercedes of Tristan Vautier - pole winners in their respective GT classes - serve stop-and-go penalties, along with the No. 27 Dream Racing Lamborghini of Paolo Ruberti, who started in place of qualifying driver Larry DeGeorge.
Pole winner Neel Jani has led the opening four laps in the No. 13 Rebellion Racing ORECA WEC P2.

The command is given to start the engines, with immediate drama. The No. 55 Mazda Prototype is slow to fire, but joins the field at the back of the grid. Two of the favored GTLM cars - the No. 67 Ford GT was also late to fire up, but did not get out before the pit road is closed and is held on pit road, while the No. 4 Corvette starts at the back of the field. Also held on pit road is the No. 75 SunEnergy1 Mercedes.
Kyle Petty waves the green flag and the field is off to a clean start.

We're an hour away from the green flag, with a great crowd already packed into Sebring International Raceway. It's 56 degrees under sunny skies, with temperatures expected to climb to 80 degrees this afternoon.
Today's action began with an uneventful 20-minute warm-up session. Nick Heidfeld was fastest with a lap of 1m52.280s in the No. 13 Rebellion Racing ORECA WEC P2 that will start from the pole with Neel Jani at the wheel.
Hurley Haywood will give the command for the 46 starters to fire up their engines at 10:31 a.m. Kyle Petty will wave the green flag for the 65th renewal of the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring at 10:40 a.m.
