LM24: Greaves picks Berthon for vacant Le Mans seat

Frenchman Nathanael Berthon has taken the vacant seat at the Greaves Ligier LMP2 squad for this month's Le Mans 24 Hours.
The GP2 and Formula Renault 3.5 race winner has signed up with Greaves Motorsport for the French enduro on June 18/19 after losing his drive with the Jota-run G-Drive Racing World Endurance Championship squad last week.
The seat alongside Memo Rojas and Julien Canal in the Greaves Ligier-Nissan JSP2 became available when Kuba Giermaziak, who contested the first two rounds of the European Le Mans Series with the team, encountered sponsorship difficulties.
Jon Lancaster returned to the Greaves team, with which he won the 2015 ELMS title, for the Le Mans test day last Sunday.
A driver merry-go-round in LMP2 was triggered by Berthon's departure from the G-Drive ORECA-Nissan 05. Will Stevens moved over from Manor's ORECA to the G-Drive car and his place was then taken by Roberto Merhi, who races the British team's WEC entry that does not have a place on the Le Mans grid.
