Spring Mountain Race Series heats up with two rounds remaining
The Spring Mountain Race Series returned under ideal conditions, with a packed facility, setting the stage for an intense stretch of racing with only two weekends remaining before champions are crowned.
In the Sports Car Series, Race 2 delivered the weekend's standout action. In GTU, Kha Phan outqualified Mark Ramsey, and the pair ran in close formation before Phan spun, allowing Ramsey to pass and take the class win. Phan recovered to finish second and set a new class track record.
In GT4, Bruce Semler and John Mueller traded positions throughout before Mueller broke through to the checkered flag to claim the class win, with Semler earning a strong second in one of the tightest GT4 battles of the season.

In GTL, Gabriel Giannattasio took the class win after navigating cross-class traffic, with Brian Schmidt finishing second. The GTM class delivered another compelling contest, with the battle between Dylan Northern and Chad Lancaster providing the drama. Randy Wonnenberg maintained his advantage at the front to take first, with Northern second and Lancaster third. Brian Reynolds was uncontested in GTX, taking the class win.
The Radical Cup Challenge featured a strong 19-car field throughout the weekend, keeping the Spring Mountain Racing crew active in the hot pits with multiple mechanical tasks between sessions.

In the Silver class, Shahine Mobine returned after acquiring a new car from Spring Mountain Racing, and Brad Rambo competed in one of the Radical Racing Academy's school cars, running a 1340cc engine against 1500cc competitors. Bruce Semler took the Silver class win, with Chris Souliotis second and Michael Reynolds third.
In Gold, Brandon Rambo claimed first place, ahead of Mark Rohrwasser in second, with Tanner Harvey, recently announced as a Pro class entrant for the upcoming McLaren Trophy America season, rounding out the podium in third. Nick Kelly made the trip from Australia in his new Radical but narrowly missed the podium. In Platinum, Alain Derzie ran an energetic weekend in his SR10 against cross-class competition.
