Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach 2026 is going all-in on performance 911s

If you have been looking for a reason to make the trip to the South Florida Fairgrounds in West Palm Beach on April 16th through the 18th, Barrett-Jackson just handed you several of them. As Barrett-Jackson is known to do, this year’s Palm Beach auction will feature some mega-rare performance freaks that are sure to draw some characters with deep pockets and shiny-floored garages.

While these auctions often feature a great many automotive wonders, one of the headliners is the über-rare 2024 Porsche 911 S/T wearing the Heritage Design Package. Porsche built exactly 1,963 examples of the S/T for the model year — the number is a not-so-shrouded nod to 1963, the year the 911 was first unveiled — making it the rarest flavor of the current 992-generation 911 in production. It’s got the naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six borrowed directly from the GT3 RS, producing 518 horsepower and routed exclusively through a six-speed manual transmission. This car has no automatic option. No PDK. Read that again.

Porsche built the S/T to be the lightest 911 in the 992 generation and gave it the most focused, analog driving experience they could engineer while abiding by current safety standards. The Heritage Design Package adds killer, classic Porsche graphics, vintage-style Porsche crests, and the "63" side numbers. Lot 755 has only 45 miles on it, selling with no reserve.

Alongside it, Barrett-Jackson is putting two 2024 Porsche 911 GT3 RS models across the block, which is either a remarkable coincidence or a very good week for anyone who finds naturally aspirated flat-sixes exciting. Lot 739 is a GT3 RS equipped with the Weissach Package and finished in Paint to Sample Mint Green, which is the kind of color choice that separates the people who ordered a GT3 RS to drive it from the people who ordered one to park inside their house. Lot 745 is finished in Arctic Gray with black GT3 RS graphics, also equipped with the Weissach Package, and features the full suite of active aerodynamic systems that come with that specification, along with a paddle-shifted seven-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission and a Race-Tex interior with GT Silver stitching. Both make 518 horsepower from the same 4.0-liter naturally aspirated engine. Both cars will hit the block with no reserve.

For buyers with a preference for the current generation, a one-owner 2025 Porsche 911 GT3 RS — Lot 729 — is on the docket as well, equipped with the Weissach RS Package and finished in black with red RS side graphics, red wheels, and red-painted brake calipers. Carbon fiber exterior and interior components are included throughout.

The Stuttgart contingent doesn't stop at the GT cars. Lot 762 is a 2026 Porsche 911 Carrera T Club Coupe, one of just 70 units produced to celebrate 70 years of the Porsche Club of America, finished in Sholar Blue with Club Coupe-specific interior trim. Porsche says it will do 0-60 in 4.3 seconds and reach a top speed of 183 mph. Also crossing the block is Lot 734, a 2025 Porsche 911 Targa 4 GTS running a turbocharged flat-six with Porsche's T-Hybrid system and donned in the SportDesign Package in carbon fiber. And if you really hate roofs, Lot 783, a 2020 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S cabriolet finished in Chalk with a Bordeaux Red and black two-tone leather interior, rounds out the newer offerings.

The weird one

The most interesting of the bunch for a different reason entirely, Lot 691, is a 2005 Porsche 911 GT3 finished in Arctic Silver Metallic and powered by a 375-horsepower naturally aspirated Mezger flat-six engine paired with a six-speed manual. The Mezger engine, named for Hans Mezger – the same guy responsible for the 917's flat-12 — has become one of the most coveted powerplants in the collector market. Seeing one on the block at a no-reserve auction is likely to chum the rich-guy waters.

Every Porsche on the docket sells with no reserve. Tickets are available now at barrett-jackson.com, with special pricing for seniors, military, first responders, and students. Children 12 and under get in free.
