Round 4 of the Spring Mountain Race Series delivers record-setting weekend

Round 4 of the Spring Mountain Race Series was defined by ideal track conditions and record-breaking pace, as clear skies and cool temperatures allowed drivers to focus entirely on performance and execution.

By the end of the Sports Car races, records were falling across the board. Every class set a new track record, highlighted by a dominant weekend from Michele Abbate, who swept qualifying and both races in the GTM class. Abbate gained valuable ground in the championship while fellow GTM contender Chad Lancaster had a weekend to forget following mechanical issues in both races.

Gregg Gorski managed to narrowly edge championship leader Brian Reynolds for the weekend, winning the GTX class. A decisive late-race pass from Zach Bradford over Mike Dean secured Bradford his first career GT4 victory in his debut season.

The Radical Cup Challenge featured equally intense racing throughout the weekend, with a few incidents and close calls shaking up the order in race one. In the end, it was Josh Esfahani who took the Radical Gold win over pole-sitter Tony Bullock. Bullock roared back to claim victory in race two and share the overall weekend win.

Another standout performance of the weekend came from Nancy Bullock, who won both Radical Silver races and set a new track record for the class. Greg Gorski won the Radical Platinum class for the weekend and sits atop the championship leaderboard.
