Lime Rock Park completes Radical Cup schedule

A three-day standalone spectator event at Lime Rock Park, Aug. 6-8, completes the 2026 Radical Cup North America schedule. The trip to the Berkshires – the scenic region renowned for weekend retreats, outdoor recreation, wineries and small-town charm – adds another destination event to the calendar, which already features a mix of renowned tracks and high-profile events.

Thursday will feature a four-hour Radical only open pit-lane test adding to the significant track time of an hour of practice followed by qualifying and three 40-minute races, ending on Saturday afternoon.

“Radical Cup was an instant fan favorite last year at Lime Rock Park,” said Radical Motorsport’s Tom Drewer, “and the ‘Bullring in the Berkshires’ proved to be one of the most demanding, yet picturesque and charming venues of the season, surprising many who attended our season finale. We’re delighted to have one of America’s most storied circuits back on the calendar.”

The USAC-sanctioned series features multi-class prototype racing and attracts young karters in addition to seasoned club and regional racers, all looking to make a mark. The list of Radical Cup alumni includes 2025 Rolex 24 At Daytona winner in LMP2, George Kurtz, as well as current Indy NXT driver Jordan Missig.

The 2026 season starts at Sebring, March 5-8, before visiting the Sonoma, April 10-12, supporting IndyCar at Road America, June 18-21, Road Atlanta, July 23-25, heading to Lime Rock Park Aug. 6-8 for the penultimate round, and finishing out the season alongside the FIA World Endurance Championship at Circuit of The Americas, Sept. 4-6.

New for this year, the 1500cc SR3s has been split into two distinct classes – Gold for drivers over 30 and Pro 1500 for young guns under 30. Classes also exist for SR3 1340 and SR10 machines.

With the season complete, the online entry system is now open for Radical competitors. For more series information, visit radicalcupnorthamerica.com.
