IMSA post-Rolex 24 video roundup

Need some racing action to get you to Sebring? Fortunately IMSA's content creators have been hard at work for you, and RACER has rounded up a few here.

Let's start with the sights and sound of the Rolex 24 from IMSA, a video that will take you from the full-field-photo to the victory celebrations at the end without commentary, just the video and audio as it was captured:

If you prefer more of a recap of the race, this nearly 24-minute extended highlights video should do the trick. And should you care to watch the race in its entirety, every minute is available on YouTube.

2023 IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup GTD champions Korthoff/Preston Motorsports has a new docuseries called "32" and the first two episodes are up now. The first introduces the team and drivers Mike Skeen, Mikael Grenier, Kenton Koch and Maximilian Götz as they prepare for the Rolex 24.

Speaking of Korthoff/Preston Motorsports, driver Skeen posted some video of the opening laps of the Rolex 24 from inside the No. 32 Mercedes AMG. The video, which includes data such as speed, G-forces, gear, throttle and brake pressure, and steering angle, features the start and some impressive passes around the outside in the West Horseshoe.

Here's another in-car, with Joey Hand describing a lap of Daytona International Speedway in the new Ford Multimatic Motorsports Mustang GT3:

Here's a fun short with Honda Racing Corporation US President David Salters explaining why the Acura ARX-06 GTP car makes the "Chewbacca" noise under braking for a corner:

The pit setups have come a long way from sitting on top of a rolling toolbox with a stopwatch. In fact, the pit structures have become almost palatial. This video from IMSA explains why the pit structures have grown so large, and the function they serve. And the guy hosting the tour might look familiar to RACER fans.

Honda Racing US produced a video with Gradient Racing spotter Brad Perez talking about how he actually picks the No. 66 Acura NSX out in the dark among a sea of cars:
