Kristensen named president of FIA Drivers’ Commission

Le Mans legend Tom Kristensen has been named the new president of the FIA Drivers’ Commission. The Dane had previously served as the commission's vice president and will now take the helm from three-time Formula 1 world champion Emerson Fittipaldi.

The FIA Drivers’ Commission has been in existence since 2012 and consists of 12 members, including Kristensen’s former Audi teammate Emanuele Pirro. The commission represents the interests of race drivers in all motorsport disciplines.
