GP3: Alesi's son to drive in test
Giuliano Alesi, the son of ex-Formula 1 driver Jean Alesi, will get his first taste of GP3 machinery during the opening day of the series' Abu Dhabi post-season test.
The 16-year-old spent his first season in car racing in 2015, taking four race wins on his way to fourth in the French Formula 4 Series. He will test with Arden on Wednesday, alongside Formula 3 European Championship front-runner Jake Dennis and BRDC Formula 4 champion Will Palmer.
One of Dennis's 2015 F3 rivals, Charles Leclerc, will test with ART Grand Prix, which sealed the GP3 drivers' title with Esteban Ocon last weekend to go with its teams' championship.
Having also contested the F3 season, Santino Ferrucci and Tatiana Calderon will turn laps with Status Grand Prix. Jack Aitken and Jake Hughes will test with Koiranen GP.
Antonio Fuoco and Matthew Parry, who raced with Carlin and Koiranen, respectively, in GP3 this year, will switch to Trident for the test.
