
Updated TV ratings: Indy, Hungary, Eldora, Lime Rock
NASCAR Sprint Cup racing's Brickyard 400 from Indianapolis scored a 3.0 rating on NBCSN, averaging 4.7 million viewers. That makes it the most-watched telecast in the history of NBCSN, according to the network.
The NASCAR Xfinity Series race from Indianapolis Saturday afternoon scored a 1.51 rating on NBC.
The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series' annual visit to the Eldora dirt track averaged 696,000 viewers on FOX Sports 1 on Wednesday night.
Formula 1's Hungarian Grand Prix did a little better with its live telecast this weekend on CNBC, scoring a 0.32 overnight rating. For comparison purposes the Tour de France finale that led F1 to be bumped from NBCSN scored a 0.4 overnight, peaking at 509,000 viewers.
Although back on ESPN2 after a run of live showings on ESPN, the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series scored solid numbers from Denver, averaging 519,000 viewers.
The IMSA TUDOR Championship GTD/PC race from Lime Rock, run delayed Sunday afternoon on FOX Sports 1, averaged 86,000 viewers.
