NASCAR: Larson cleared to return to racing

Chip Ganassi Racing announced that Kyle Larson has now been cleared to return to competition for the next round of the NASCAR Sprint Cup season at Texas.

Larson, 22, missed last weekend's Cup race at Martinsville after he was hospitalized when he fainted during an autograph session at the track on Saturday. Larson was released from the hospital Monday night.

"Following a thorough review of all the test results by his attending physicians and in conjunction with the medical staff from NASCAR, Kyle Larson has been medically cleared to return to all NASCAR related activities beginning at Texas Motor Speedway next weekend, April 10-11," the team announced in a statement.
