TJ Fischer joins Salvador Duran Racing for Formula Renault 2.0 ALPS Series

In an exclusive arrangement, TJ Fischer will be competing in the 2015 Formula Renault 2.0 ALPS for the newly formed Salvador Duran Racing team. This move marks a significant progression in TJ’s career and will see him race in one of the premier European formula car development series. This will give TJ the opportunity to race at some of the most historic tracks in Europe, many of which are home to major Formula One Grand Prix races including the legendary Spa Francorchamps in Belgium, the world-famous Monza circuit in Italy, and the Red Bull Ring in Austria.

This will mark TJ’s second consecutive year racing in Europe, having competed in BARC Protyre Formula Renault Series in the UK last year. With a year of overseas experience under his belt, TJ is ready and excited to begin challenging for podiums and race wins in 2015 for the Salvador Duran team.

Speaking about his new team, TJ commented, “I am so excited to get out to Italy and join the guys there. Salvador Duran is someone I’ve always looked up to and followed. I can’t wait to learn from him and take things to the next level. And as the only American driver racing in this series, I’m psyched to be representing the Stars and Stripes. It’s going to be epic.”

The 2015 Formula Renault 2.0 ALPS series is made up of seven races, kicking off in Imola, Italy on April 12.
