F1: Ricciardo reprimanded for pit move
Daniel Ricciardo has picked up his first reprimand of the Formula 1 season after overtaking Pastor Maldonado in a "dangerous" way in the pits in Canadian Grand Prix practice.
Red Bull driver Ricciardo is believed to have dived inside Maldonado at the end of the opening practice session in Montreal, which race stewards were not happy about. After speaking to the Australian, they said that his actions were not acceptable and he was issued with a reprimand.
"A statement issued by the FIA said: "The driver of car #3 drove in a manner that was potentially dangerous to others in the pitlane."
If drivers pick up three reprimands in the same season then they will be handed a 10-place grid penalty.
