Indianapolis FOX TV59 reports that IndyCar racer JR Hildebrand foiled an attempted robbery on the streets of Indianapolis on Monday, after he recognized his attempted assailant was using a fake pistol.
Hildebrand, who reported the incident to the Indianapolis Police Department, told the police he was watching a video on his phone and walking his dog when a man approached him with a gun. After deciding the man’s weapon was a fake, he said, ?Get lost. Get out of here,? whereupon the man ran away, according to the IMPD report.
