Chevy branding for Siegel IndyCar at Milwaukee
IndyCar Series fans have grown accustomed to seeing Honda take an active role in promoting its brands with Acura and Honda Racing Corporation logos featured on the sidepods of its teams, and Chevrolet will join the trend on Sunday for the second Milwaukee race with the No. 6 Chevy driven by Nolan Siegel.
The initiative with Arrow McLaren, which is expected to play a featured role in Chevy’s future when the series shifts to its new 2.4-liter twin-turbo V6 hybrid motors in 2028, centers on job recruitment and training for General Motors.
“The Chevrolet livery on Sunday will promote the GM Future Techs program which connects students with the GM Automotive Services Educational Program, a two-year college path featuring classroom learning, hands-on shop training and paid dealership internships,” the team announced.“Future Techs branding will be present on the sidepods and rear wing of the No. 6 Chevrolet Arrow McLaren.”
