Estre gets Le Mans opportunity with TDS Racing
Porsche factory driver Kévin Estre will get the chance to racing in this year’s 94th running of the 24 Hours of Le Mans after all, after TDS Racing announced today that he’ll drive the team’s No. 14 ORECA 07-Gibson in the LMP2 Pro/Am class.
Estre will share the No. 14 TDS Racing entry with Canadian businessman and Bronze driver Tobias Lütke, who makes his Le Mans debut, and experienced LMP2 driver Mathias Beche – who finished fifth in LMP2, and second in the Pro/Am subdivision, last year at Le Mans.
The Frenchman made his Le Mans debut in 2015 driving a Ligier LMP2 for OAK Racing. With Porsche, Estre took class honors in 2018, when he and co-drivers Michael Christensen and Laurens Vanthoor won LMGTE Pro for the factory Porsche GT Team. In three starts for Porsche Penske Motorsport in the Hypercar class, Estre won the pole in 2024 and finished fourth overall – then in 2025, Estre nearly completed a historic ‘last-to-first’ comeback, finishing second after starting 21st due to a technical infringement in qualifying.
Though Porsche Penske Motorsport and its factory Porsche 963 Hypercars won’t be at Le Mans after the manufacturer’s withdrawal from the FIA World Endurance Championship, Estre is one of two Porsche Penske drivers who will be at Le Mans regardless. Reigning Daytona and Sebring winner Julien Andlauer has already been confirmed to drive Duqueine Team’s No. 30 ORECA LMP2 alongside Doriane Pin and Richard Verschoor.
