‘Full Speed: The Daytona 500’ documentary coming in March
"NASCAR: Full Speed" is moving to Prime Video.
The streaming service, which is one of NASCAR’s television broadcast partners, will drop "Full Speed: The Daytona 500" on March 5. The feature-length documentary will be a behind-the-scenes look at the season-opening race that was won by Tyler Reddick and 23XI Racing. It is described as an “unfiltered look” at the sport’s biggest race and the drivers.
Reddick will be featured in the documentary alongside Kyle Busch, Connor Zilisch, Brad Keselowski and Noah Gragson. Busch was the pole-sitter for the Daytona 500 while Zilisch was making his first start in the event. Keselowski, meanwhile, is racing while recovering from a broken right femur.
In addition to the new documentary, the first two seasons of "NASCAR: Full Speed," which originally aired on Netflix, are now available on Prime Video. The series followed drivers during the week and behind the scenes of a race weekend.
NASCAR Studios, Words + Pictures, Tim Mullen and Jackie Decker produced the documentary. The executive producers are Tim Clark, John Dahl, Tally Hair, and Ben Kennedy of NASCAR Studio, and Connor Schell, Aaron Cohen and Nick Eisenberg of Words + Pictures.
