Armstrong tops Tuesday morning times at Sebring IndyCar test

Meyer Shank Racing ended Monday afternoon’s IndyCar Series test session on top with Marcus Armstrong in the No. 66 Honda, and the New Zealander didn’t lose a step overnight after leading the group of 12 Tuesday morning runners at Sebring International Raceway.

Armstrong had countryman Scott Dixon directly behind him on the lap chart, with Will Power in third for Andretti Global and Scott McLaughlin in fourth for Team Penske, and first for Team Chevy pilots.

Ed Carpenter Racing made its on-track debut at the two-day test with yet another Kiwi in Hunter McElrea, who was sixth-fastest for the team.The close to the test takes place this afternoon with the 11 drivers who ran Monday morning.
