Reddick paces combined All-Star and Open practice at North Wilkesboro
23XI Racing paced both sides of Cup Series practice Friday at North Wilkesboro Speedway in preparation for All-Star weekend festivities.
Tyler Reddick was the fastest driver overall in the 45-minute session, which was for both All-Star Race teams and Open teams. Reddick (All-Star) topped the board at 123.640mph (18.198s).
Chase Elliott (All-Star) was second fastest at 123.403mph, then came Reddick’s teammate, Bubba Wallace (Open), who was third at and also the fastest of the drivers not locked into the All-Star Race (123.376mph).
Christopher Bell (All-Star) was fourth at 123.186mph, Erik Jones (Open) fifth at 123.146mph and Ross Chastain (All-Star) sixth at 123.126mph.
Brad Keselowski (All-Star) was seventh at 123.018mph, William Byron (All-Star) eighth at 122.991mph, Kyle Busch (All-Star) ninth at 122.904mph and Joey Logano (All-Star) completed the top 10 at 122.864mph.
Josh Berry (All-Star) was 11th, followed by Ty Gibbs (Open), Austin Cindric (All-Star), Todd Gilliland (Open) and Daniel Suarez (All-Star). John Hunter Nemechek (Open) was 16th with Ryan Blaney (All-Star) in 17th, followed by Denny Hamlin (All-Star), Riley Herbst (Open), and Ty Dillon (Open).
Justin Haley (Open) was 21st followed by Ryan Preece (Open), Ricky Stenhouse Jr. (All-Star), Justin Allgaier (All-Star, practicing for Kyle Larson in the No. 5), Chase Briscoe (All-Star), Noah Gragson (Open), Carson Hocevar (Open), and Shane van Gisbergen (Open). Zane Smith (Open) was 29th on the board followed by Chris Buescher (All-Star), AJ Allmendinger (Open), Alex Bowman (All-Star) and Michael McDowell (Open).
The rest of the field consisted of Harrison Burton (All-Star) in 34th, Austin Dillon (All-Star), Cole Custer (Open), Cody Ware (Open) and Chad Finchum (Open).
There are 38 teams entered at North Wilkesboro.
