Vintage Indy Now Accepting Entries for Its Five 2022 Events, Including Three With INDYCAR

Vintage Indy announced yesterday that entry is open for all of its 2022 events, the series to be featured at venues in five different states beginning June 9-12 at Road America.

The Vintage Indy calendar again features three appearances alongside the NTT INDYCAR Series, including the Sonsio Grand Pix presented by AMR at Road America, the Streets of Nashville for the Big Machine Music City Grand Prix, and WWT Raceway’s Bommarito 500 in addition to a highly anticipated return for vintage Indy cars to the famed Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the SVRA Indy Speed Tour. Capping off the organization’s season will be a first time appearance in Pontiac, Mich., at the American Speed Festival.

All of the organization’s on-track events will again be paced by the Miles Ahead MINI John Cooper Works Hardtop driven by two-time Indianapolis 500 Winner Al Unser Jr.

Founded in 2017 and a member of the Vintage Motorsports Council, Vintage IndyTM is dedicated to the history and preservation of Indianapolis championship cars.
