Suarez stays on top in third practice at Charlotte
Daniel Suarez completed the sweep of being fastest in both Saturday practice sessions at Charlotte with a lap of 180.704mph (29.883 seconds).
Second-fastest was Daniel Hemric at 180.687mph, with Denny Hamlin third-quickest at 180.554mph. Rounding out the top five was Ryan Preece at 180.469mph and Kyle Busch at 180.276mph.
Erik Jones was sixth-quickest at 180.222mph with Austin Dillon seventh at 180.036mph. Eighth-fastest was Paul Menard's 179.772mph, with pole-sitter William Byron ninth-quickest at 179.742mph. Completing the top 10 was Clint Bowyer at 179.635mph.
Kyle Busch was the best of the drivers in the 10 consecutive lap average followed by Austin Dillon, Hemric, Hamlin, Jones, Suarez, Martin Truex Jr., Menard, Bowyer, and Byron.
Chase Elliott, who was 19th quickest, ran the most laps in final practice at 41. There were no incidents in the session.
