The preliminary entry list for the 61st annual Daytona 500 was released Wednesday night and lists 42 cars.
Forty drivers will start the season-opening race on Feb. 17. The front row will be determined this Sunday afternoon during qualifying while the rest of the field will be locked in following the two Duel races next Thursday.
Entry List
Six drivers are not locked into the race. They are Casey Mears (No. 27), Tyler Reddick (No. 31), Brendan Gaughan (No.62), Joey Gase (No. 66), Ryan Truex (No. 71), and Parker Kligerman (No. 96).
