Bertil Roos Racing School will host its first ever Bertil Roos Alumni Race on December 10-11 at Palm Beach International Raceway, in Jupiter, Florida. The race will feature drivers who have been absent from the series for some time, but were influential figures during their tenure. The race is also open to drivers who have been active with the Bertil Roos Race Series for an extended period.
Drivers will compete on PBIR’s 2.2-mile road course. The FIA-certified, 10-turn circuit features some of the most challenging corners offered by any track in North America.
Racers will use Bertil Roos’ Formula F2000 race cars, but also will have the chance to try out BRRS’ new R/T-2000 race cars.
The event will follow the current race series schedule. December 10 will be a practice and qualifying day. December 11 will begin with a practice and qualifying session, followed by two races per group. A special commemorative prize will be awarded to the winners of each group.
In addition, the weekend will feature fun off-track activities for the drivers. There will be a group dinner for drivers and guests on the evening of December 10. The night will allow drivers to mingle and relive all the good times of racing in the Bertil Roos Race Series. It’s an all-inclusive price of $3,245 for the two-day package.
