LCR Honda Castrol’s Cal Crutchlow suffered a broken ankle in a heavy crash that ruled him out for the rest of the Phillip Island race weekend.

Crutchlow was running fifth in Friday's FP2 when he crashed at Turn 1 with 15 minutes remaining in the session.
