Rosenqvist, Scuderia Corsa team up for Macau GT entry

Macau master Felix Rosenqvist and two-time, reigning IMSA GT Daytona champions Scuderia Corsa will join forces to compete in the Macau GT World Cup. The Swedish Formula E driver, who has a pair of Formula 3 victories around the island street circuit, will drive the No. 63 Ferrari 488 GT3 for the California-based team during the Nov. 16-19 event.

Rosenqvist, who is managed by countryman and Scuderia Corsa sporting director Stefan Johansson, welcomes the chance to capture another win in the Chinese territory.

"Competing at Macau is something very special," he said. "I've had great experiences at the circuit in the past, but to take part in the GT race is something that should be extremely exciting. Scuderia Corsa has an incredible reputation for preparing some of the best Ferraris in the GT world, and I appreciate the opportunity from everyone."

Following Scuderia Corsa's second consecutive WeatherTech SportsCar Championship title which came at Petit Le Mans (above) with Alessandro Balzan and Christina Nielsen, team owner Giacomo Mattioli is feeling bullish about the program's capabilities at Macau.

"Felix's record speaks for itself, quite remarkable in Macau, and between his driving and the depth of our team, we're confident in our ability to deliver," he said.
