Motor Trend OnDemand to stream the California 8H SRO Intercontinental GT Challenge

The California 8 Hours SRO Intercontinental GT Challenge, the third round of the worldwide SRO Intercontinental GT Challenge, announced today that Motor Trend OnDemand will be the exclusive digital streaming partner for the California 8 Hours race scheduled on Sunday, Oct.15, at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca.

The California 8 Hours, featuring GT3 and GT4 homologated sports cars, will run from 12:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. EDT at the 2.238-mile, 11-turn road circuit east of Monterey, Calif. CBS Sports Network will broadcast the first two hours, then hand off the livestream to Motor Trend OnDemand from hours three through seven, then CBS Sports Network will broadcast the final hour live. Highlights of the race will only be available on Motor Trend OnDemand post-race.

The California 8 Hours is the inaugural event in North America for the SRO International GT Challenge series, which debuted last year in four continents. In 2017, the events concluded to date are the Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12-Hour event and the Total 24 Hours of Spa with the tour finale set for December 9 with the Motul Sepang 12- Hours classic.

The announcing line-up for the California 8 Hours will be veterans Greg Creamer, Jeff Lepper, Jeremy Shaw, and Shea Adam, with Jake Query and Katie Osborne serving at the pit reporters.
