Go behind the wheel in an SCCA T1 race at the Glen

The June 23-25, 2017, weekend marked the final round of the Hoosier Racing Tire SCCA Super Tour series. The 11-weekend, 22-race series began in January at Sebring International Raceway and wound its way across the country, wrapping this past weekend at Watkins Glen International. Being the final race of the series, the action was intense – and thanks to the magic of YouTube, you can experience the Touring 1 action first-hand.

Sunday's T1 race was a close three-way battle between polesitter Adrian Wlostowski in a 2010 Chevrolet Corvette, third-place starter Joe Aquilante in a 2005 Corvette, and fourth-place starter Hugh Stewart in a 2003 BMW M3 (P2 starter Chris Durbin in a 2013 Ford Mustang pulled off shortly before the green flag). Not to ruin the ending, but Aquilante scores the win. That said, the conclusion isn't necessarily the interesting part.
