Inside the SCCA: Club Spec Cayman

What if the next big thing in amateur racing isn’t cheaper… but smarter? In this episode of Inside the SCCA, we break down the new Club Spec Cayman and and why it might be the most exciting (and controversial) evolution in grassroots motorsports yet. From a random parking lot conversation that launched a racing career… to building a Porsche Cayman race car you can daily drive, this episode dives deep into:

  • The real cost of getting into Club Spec racing
  • Why the Cayman was chosen over other platforms
  • How it compares to the Miata and Mustang Whether a Porsche can actually be affordable in racing
  • What makes this car a legit “do-it-all” weapon

If you’ve ever wanted to go racing without blowing your entire budget or wondered if a Porsche could actually make sense, this is the episode you can’t miss.
