Ginetta plans LMP1 industry event at Silverstone

UK-based motorsport manufacturer Ginetta is set to reveal further information about its 2018 LMP1 L project (pictured) next week at Silverstone in front of media and industry members, ahead of the opening round of the World Endurance Championship.

It has organized a pair of industry and media presentations at the event, offering the chance to meet the team involved in its LMP1 Privateer chassis, which is a customer car available for teams to purchase.

On-site for the two presentations will be Ginetta chairman Lawrence Tomlinson, its technical director Ewan Baldry, Bruno Engelric from the engine supplier Mecachrome, Adrian Reynard and the yet-to-be-announced aero development and wind tunnel testing partner.

Two presentations will be given in Hall Four of the Silverstone Wing pit complex, one on Thursday at 12 p.m. and one on Friday at 3:30 p.m. ahead of the WEC's six-hour race at the circuit.
