JGR's Busch, Kenseth lead Toyota practice train

It was par for the course for the Toyota teams in the second Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series practice at Daytona International Speedway.

Drafting together in a six-car train throughout the session, Kyle Busch and Matt Kenseth ended up matching fast times at 197.265mph. Positions 3-4-5-6 were also Toyota drivers with Denny Hamlin third fastest at 197.109mph, Erik Jones fourth fastest at 197.053mph, Daniel Suarez fifth fastest at 197.036 mph and Martin Truex Jr. sixth fastest at 197.006mph.

Of the 40 cars in the field for the 59th annual Daytona 500, only 28 chose to practice. There were no major incidents during the 55-minute session.

Filling out the top 10 were Aric Almirola (195.257 mph), Chase Elliott (194.717 mph), Ty Dillon (194.607 mph), and Dale Earnhardt Jr. (194.477 mph).
