ROC: America's Rossi and Speed join Miami field

Indianapolis 500 winner Alexander Rossi (pictured) will make his Race of Champions debut next January in Miami. The Andretti Herta Autosport IndyCar driver was named alongside Scott Speed  now a two-time Red Bull Global Rallycross champion for Andretti  to compete in the RoC's first visit to the U.S. on Jan. 21-22.

The pair join a line-up that includes F1 drivers Sebastian Vettel and Felipe Massa and IndyCar's Juan Pablo Montoya, Ryan Hunter-Reay and Tony Kanaan.

Rossi made his IndyCar debut this year, having spent the bulk of his career in Europe and becoming the first American to race in F1 since Speed in 2007, when he joined Manor late last season.

"RoC is so well respected in motorsport, bringing together the best drivers from around the world and across every series," Rossi said. "This international event is always ultra-competitive and I'm looking forward to the competition and the very first U.S. r.ace venue in Miami.

"It will also be great to race with my Andretti Autosport teammate, Ryan Hunter-Reay. I can assure you, neither of us will be holding back."
