IHRA Throwback Thursday: Mike Dunn's back on his bicycle

Earlier this week we featured an interview with IHRA President Mike Dunn, whom you likely either know from his decades of racing, and winning in, Funny Cars or Top Fuel dragsters, or from his 14 years of work as the color commentator on ESPN's drag racing coverage.

Here's a clip that combines racing, television, and a third skill Dunn has – riding a bicycle, something he said he'd probably be doing a lot more of had be not been tapped to help lead the IHRA into the future.

It's one of many "101" segments Dunn filmed for ESPN explaining drag racing's finer points. This time he looks at staging battles. Actually, that's what it's supposed to be about – we suspect Dunn just wanted to ride his bicycle down the drag strip. Notice that the timing system pegs his speed well into double figures.
