IHRA: What's your favorite?

We asked photographer Keith Rizzo, who spent last weekend shooting the Good Vibrations Motorsports Texas Nationals at San Antonio Raceway, to pick his top 10 photographs from the event.

And Keith's favorites ran the gamut – from a fan-favorite diesel-powered Top Dragster, to Hayden Proffitt II's twin jet-powered Chevrolet pickup. From Cary Goforth's AMSOIL Pro Stock, to the wheel-standing Sherman Racing Corvette. From a young fan's own photo of the Raymond Beadle Blue Max tribute Nitro Funny Car, to Bruce Litton wrinkling the Hoosiers while launching the U.S. Male Funny Car.

Keith captured the flavor of the Texas Nationals and a couple of sunny days in South Texas (and one day that wasn't so sunny, when Friday qualifying was cut short by blustery winds gusting to over 30 mph, and creating unsafe conditions).
But that's the IHRA Drag Racing Series – you never know quite what to expect.
