WTCC: Huff lands deal for Macau TCR event

World Touring Car Champion Rob Huff has secured a drive in the TCR International support races for November's Macau Grand Prix.

With the Guia street circuit dropped from the WTCC's schedule for 2015, British Touring Car Championship competitors were sounded out for a non-championship event. While those plans never came to fruition, a touring car race will be held within the regional TCR framework.

Factory Lada driver Huff will race a Honda Civic, prepared by WTCC squad JAS Motorsport and entered by West Coast Racing.

"Macau is quite simply the most challenging race circuit I've ever raced on and my record is strong there," said Huff, who has won seven Macau WTCC races.

"I'm really pleased to be invited by West Coast Racing and JAS Motorsport to drive their Civic in the TCR finale there and I am confident we will have a competitive package for the event. I'll be trying to get more Macau wins for sure."
