Help the USC Formula SAE team raise funds for a new trailer

The University of Southern California chapter of Formula SAE, an entirely student-run organization that designs, constructs, tests, and races high performance autocross racecars, is seeking to raise funds for a new trailer.

Every year the team competes against universities from across the globe in an ultimate test of its car's abilities. Winning teams combine cutting-edge research and analysis with skilled hands-on manufacturing. Teams must also be highly organized and deliver a business case, present a line-item cost report and argue the design of their car, all to a panel of industry judges.

If it were not for the support of USC Viterbi alumni, parents and friends, the team would not be able to do what its students love and use what they learn in the classrooms at USC Viterbi and apply them to real world scenarios. By taking students out of the classroom and allowing them to apply textbook theories to real-world problems, Formula SAE produces some of the most talented and highly desired graduates in the country.

Due to age, usage and wear and tear, the team is in need of a new trailer – one that will safely house the racecar it spends hours building and all of the materials and equipment we need when traveling to competitions. At one of Formula SAE's four-day long competitions, the trailer becomes the team's shop on the road, and it is essential to the team's goal of becoming a top-10 team. The  goal is to raise enough funds to purchase the trailer shown above.

*GREAT NEWS! One of our loyal alumni (and USC Viterbi parent) has offered to match each gift the team receives (1:1), up to $5,000! That means your gift can be doubled at no additional cost to you and the team can potentially raise $10,000 for the new trailer!

EVERY GIFT, NO MATTER THE SIZE, WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE, so thank you for your support of USC's team and mission.
