F3: Prema signs Rosenqvist for Euro series

Macau Grand Prix winner Felix Rosenqvist has signed for Prema Powerteam in the Formula 3 European championship for 2015. The Swede, an F3 veteran and a two-time victor in the Zandvoort F3 Masters race, spent the last four seasons with Mucke Motorsport, finishing as runner-up in the championship in 2013.

Rosenqvist is Prema's fourth signing for 2015, joining Jake Dennis, Lance Stroll and Brandon Maisano.

"I am highly excited about what I view as a new phase of my career," said the 23-year-old. "Prema have been the undisputed pacesetters in F3 for as long as I've been around. They are operating at their own level, and I am thrilled to join them at a time when the European championship is stronger than ever before. The championship is the one thing I've got left to win in Formula 3, so I head into this season with a very clear target."

Team boss Rene Rosin added: "Being able to rely on Felix for 2015 is a great honor. In the last four years he has been one of our toughest rivals, all the time. Finally, we can have him in one of our cars."
