TC3 announces three GP support races

The new TC3 International touring car series has announced a provisional calendar incorporating three Formula 1 support races.

The championship expects to race alongside the Malaysian, Chinese and Singapore Grands Prix in its first season, with the Sepang event TC3's inaugural race. TC3 will also visit F1 venues Monza and Sochi for separate events within its 12-round calendar, plus ex-Argentinian GP circuit Buenos Aires.

It includes lesser-known tracks Codegua in Chile – which will host TC2000 later this year – and Buriram in Thailand, which was recently used as a Super GT venue.

Events at Valencia, Algarve and the Salzburgring complete the confirmed races.

Amid suggestions that the World Touring Car Championship could lose its Macau slot, TC3 has also left a November date open following two other Asian events.
