Announcing special RACER Tech Mailbag videos with Marshall Pruett
During these two weeks of preparation for the 98th running of the Indianapolis 500, RACER.com will be running video answers to some of your IndyCar-specific queries for Marshall Pruett's Tech Mailbag.
Marshall will be putting some of your questions to the engineers, drivers and mechanics around the Indianapolis Motor Speedway garages, while all others will continue to be answered in the regular Tech Mailbag. Don't forget, either, that your tech questions don't need to be confined to the present day. If you want to know how George Bignotti modified the Lola chassis to create the Johnny Lightning Colt that won the Indy 500 in 1970 and ’71, or how the removal of the apron at IMS required changes in car setups, just ask. And questions on Pruett's other areas – sports cars, Formula 1 and GT racing – remain wide open for inquiring minds.
