Auto GP champion in Indy Lights move
Reigning Auto GP champion Vittorio Ghirelli will contest this year's Indy Lights series for Indiana-based Team Moore Racing.
Ghirelli had his first taste of Indy lights machinery when he tested competitively for Andretti at Sebring in January, but had also been linked to continuing his involvement in GP2.
After taking in five end-of-season GP2 rounds last year with Lazarus, Ghirelli had participated in last week's Bahrain GP2 test for Trident.
Toronto Pro Mazda graduate Zack Meyer will partner Ghirelli at Team Moore, which ran Mexican Juan Pablo Garcia to eighth in last year's drivers' standings.
The Indy Lights season starts this weekend in St Petersburg, with only 12 entries confirmed.
