IMSA: Memo Gidley moves to an outpatient rehabilitation program

Memo Gidley was moved to a San Francisco outpatient facility earlier this week where he continues to make progress in his recovery from the crash of his No. 99 GAINSCO/Bob Stallings Racing Daytona Prototype that occurred in last month’s Rolex 24 at Daytona. After staying for nearly three weeks in the Santa Rosa Memorial Acute Rehabilitation Center, Gidley now begins daily rehabilitation sessions at an outpatient program near San Francisco.The facility offers care in an apartment style setting, while allowing him to be transported daily to the center for physical therapy.Gidley remains positive and in good spirits as he enters this next stage of his recovery. He also continues to be thankful for the prayers, thoughts and well wishes from friends, family and fans.
