Date set for IndyCar's 2027 Arlington race
The second edition of the Java House Grand Prix of Arlington will take place across March 19-21, 2027.
The inaugural race, won by Andretti Global’s Kyle Kirkwood, was a resounding success as the sprawling street course welcomed a large volume of fans to see the first-ever IndyCar Series race in the city, using a layout that incorporated the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers stadiums.
“From the sold-out grandstands to the incredible support from our fans, partners and the Arlington community, the response to the inaugural event was exceptional,” said event president Bill Miller.
"Building on the momentum from this first year, 2027 will deliver more enhancements and memorable experiences for our guests.”
The date for the Arlington event brings a return of a direct clash with IMSA’s Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring. IMSA’s 2027 schedule, which was announced in March, features the Sebring event across March 17-20. Some IndyCar teams will be represented in both paddocks.
IndyCar’s last date clash with Sebring also involved a Texan race, when IMSA overlapped with IndyCar's appearance at Texas Motor Speedway in 2022.
