Jaafar moves to ISR's FR3.5 squad

Jazeman Jaafar will stay on in Formula Renault 3.5 in 2014 after securing a deal with ISR.

The Malaysian competed in the series with Carlin during the 2013 season, his first year in the championship. He finished 17th in the standings, but had a podium finish in Monaco.

Jaafar had tested for ISR at the end of last year.

"It's great to have my plans finalised early in the year so that I can focus on my second season of Formula Renault 3.5 and be as well prepared as I can be ahead of the first race," he said.

"We have a series of pre-season tests ahead so this will give me time to build a strong relationship with the team personnel and start to develop the car ready for the opening round in Monza in April."

Jaafar will drive for the team again in the first official test session at Aragon on Feb. 26-27.
