COTA reveals full slate of fan activities for USGP weekend

Circuit of The Americas has released the schedule of fan entertainment scheduled to take place during this weekend's United States Grand Prix. Fans in attendance will have the chance to participate in autograph and Q&A sessions with drivers from 11 Formula 1 teams, as well as mascots from McLaren's animated video series, Tooned. Live music, themed entertainment areas, performances by the University of Texas band and the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders and the opportunity to walk on the track after the race are all part of the official slate.

New additions to this year's Grand Prix are the themed entertainment areas. Located on the ceiling of the Austin360 Amphitheater will be the COTA Cantina offering margaritas, Mexican beers and food, as well as music from a live Mariachi band and traditional Mexican dancers.

Fans looking to elevate their motorsports experience can visit the Adrenaline Lounge located in the Main Lawn of the Grand Plaza. A live feed of the races will be broadcast as race fans enjoy a full bar, mechanical bull and a craft station for children. Right next to the Adrenaline Lounge is the F1 Game Zone, which features 10 racing simulators and a chance for fans to match their lap time against real F1 test drivers.

Those in the mood for a European flavor should visit the COTA Haufbrau House, a German-styled located at Turn 6. Complete with an authentic polka band, German-themed food and multiple beers on tap, this area will be the perfect spot for those looking to enjoy unique food and drink offerings while watching the races.
