Fresh off finishing runner-up in the CUBE 3 TA2 Series event at the same racetrack, Matthew Brabham hopped into his Chris Dyson Racing machine and led wire-to-wire, picking up his ninth Trans Am win of 2026.

Matthew Brabham, driver of the No. 16 GYMWEED Ford Mustang for Chris Dyson Racing, was fastest in Saturday afternoon’s Trans Am practice at VIR, leading Paul Menard by just under a tenth of a second.
