Ferrucci joins Paul Tracy’s karting team for SKUSA SuperNationals
Paul Tracy Karting, in partnership with American Kart Manufacturing and Factory Karts, has announced that IndyCar racer Santino Ferrucci (pictured above) will feature in its three-driver line-up for the upcoming SKUSA SuperNationals in Las Vegas. Ferrucci will compete in the KA class alongside teammates Blake Nash – competing in both KA and X30 – and Josh Conker competing in Pro Shifter.
“I’m really excited about the group of drivers we’re bringing to SuperNationals,” said Tracy, a 31-time IndyCar race winner. “Santino has proven himself at the highest level of open-wheel racing, and having him back in a kart alongside Blake Nash and Josh Conker is exactly the kind of program I envisioned when we decided to bring PTK back.”
The PTK program is built around a partnership with Arizona-based American Kart Manufacturing, producer of Factory Karts and its American-made chassis. With drivers competing across three categories, the team aims to showcase the versatility and competitiveness of the PTK Factory Kart platform at one of North America’s premier karting events.
“For me, this is about more than just selling go-karts,” Tracy said. “I want to build a program where drivers can come in, get great equipment, learn from people who have competed at the highest levels, and have a pathway to move forward in racing. Whether you’re just getting started or you’re an experienced professional like Santino, karting is where you sharpen your skills.”
PTK’s long-term vision includes driver coaching, technical development, simulator training, mentorship and opportunities for drivers to experience higher levels of motorsport.
“We’re building something special with AKM and Factory Karts,” Tracy said. “We’ve got three drivers who can represent the brand in different classes, and our goal is to go to Las Vegas, be competitive and fight for wins.”
The SKUSA SuperNationals is set for Nov. 11-15 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
