Toyota clinches Cup Series manufacturers' title in Phoenix

Toyota clinched the NASCAR Cup Series manufacturer’s championship Sunday after Tyler Reddick added another victory to its bucket.

Reddick triumphed at Phoenix Raceway, where Toyota had five drivers finish in the top 10. It was their 18th win of the season.

"Our team members at TRD, along with our partners at 23XI Racing, Joe Gibbs Racing and Legacy Motor Club, have delivered at the highest level all season,” said Tyler Gibbs, president, TRD, U.S.A. “This is a very important title for Toyota and TRD because it represents the teamwork, effort, and passion of countless people across our organization and throughout our teams. We couldn’t be more pleased to have that work pay off with our fourth manufacturers’ title.”

It is the first time since 2019 that Toyota has won the manufacturer’s title. In the Cup Series, they have now won it four times (2016, ’17, ’19, ’26).

The manufacturer standings are based on the highest-finishing driver for that manufacturer in each race. Toyota leads Chevrolet by 218 points after Phoenix. Denny Hamlin has earned Toyota the most points this season.

Toyota is one win from tying the most for the manufacturer in a single season (19 in 2019).
