Spire and Suarez to celebrate WIMNA at Kansas with special paint scheme

Spire Motorsports has partnered with Women in Motorsports North America (WIMNA) to highlight WIMNA Nation at Kansas Speedway this weekend.

Daniel Suárez and his No. 7 Gainbridge Chevrolet will feature the WIMNA logo and the names of WIMNA Nation members. One of those members will receive a replica of the car’s hood, autographed by Suárez, afterward.

“Seeing the WIMNA Nation logo on the No. 7 Gainbridge/WIMNA Chevrolet driven by Daniel Suárez is incredibly meaningful, but what makes this moment truly special are the names on the hood,” said Cindy Sisson, WIMNA Executive Director. “Each name represents someone who believes in our mission to advance, connect, and enable women in motorsports. WIMNA is a not-for-profit organization that was founded in 2022 by Beth Paretta and Lyn St. James. Its mission is to create an inclusive, supportive space for men and women who believe in opportunities for women in motorsports.

WIMNA Nation is a membership community for students and professionals who share a commitment to advancing women in motorsports.

Suarez and Spire Motorsports hosted 12-year-old Autumn Kohlhagen, the youngest WIMNA Nation member, at the race shop this week. Kohlhagen dreams of being a professional race car driver.

Sunday is the fourth race in the Chase. Suarez, who is championship-eligible, is 16th in the standings.
